The crisp acidity of the vintage is very present here and makes this bright, but the firm and stony finish needs some time to completely harmonize. This will really blossom if you have a little patience. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2024.

I’m getting a lot of beautiful red fruit, elegant red currant, red cherries, and also a little bit of sanguine character, a wet metal like you’ve bit your tongue, a little bloody. It’s very pointed and expressive.

A breathtakingly deep and complex wine for Beaune. So much ripeness and a certain degree of opulence, but this remains fine and poised. Very suave tannins on the concentrated and velvety palate and through the very long finish.
