The nose is all yellow, from pineapples to Golden Delicious apples to lemons, with a sprinkling of lime zest and salt. On the palate, the apples get cooked, but the pineapple remains bright above undertones of honey and nuts. Acidity joins the nose’s citrus notes to balance a creamy texture.
Lemons, apricots, peach pits and pie crust on the nose. White tea, too. Medium-bodied with a creamy, smooth palate. Clean and bright.
The 2020 Chardonnay Le Bruniche is done in a crisp, vibrant style that seems more like Vermentino than Chardonnay.
Aromas of sliced apples, apricots, nectarines and melon. It’s medium-to full-bodied with a smooth, creamy and ripe texture. Clean and flavorful.
A fruity chardonnay with cooked apples, honey and dried peaches. It’s medium-bodied with attractive fruit and a nice balance of fruit and hints of wood. Some bitter lemon, too. Drink and enjoy.
