A nice red chili-pepper and gooseberry-leaf accent to the rich currants and spices. Juicy and silky in a medium body, rounded by firm, polished tannins. Bright and generous finish with a mixture of red and black fruit and some sweet spices.

Dark plum, blackberry leaf, mocha and chili on the nose. It’s full-bodied with firm tannins. Structured with juicy character on the palate. Rich and flavorful with coffee notes to finish.

Meaty aromas join iron, heather, black plum, and vanilla to make the nosing quite an experience in itself – which is always a welcome sign. Paired with good acidity, smoky tones of charred meat add to the depth of black pepper, granite, and smooth notes of lush boysenberry.

This has a gently peppery nose with light notes of dried dark and herbs, together with a core of dark berries and cassis. A flicker of oak spice, too. The palate has a very plush, smooth-honed feel with velvety blue cherries and cassis. Full, fleshy build to the finish.

Ruby-colored with blackberry and herbal aromas, it also gets a touch of caramel from the barrel. Fragrant on the palate, and slightly dry, with juicy freshness and ripe tannins.
