Ample amounts of wood toast and menthol barely allow the high-toned, super-fresh and elegant aromas of the essence of red berries, spice and lavender hints to be appreciated. There is a terrific sense of underlying tension to the intensely mineral-infused, muscular and very serious flavors that conclude in a robust, driving and saline finish. This is excellent.

This is slightly more elegant still with its ripe yet airy red cherry, spicy and overtly floral nose that complements the relatively fine yet tautly muscular medium weight flavors that are even more mineral-driven, all wrapped in a youthfully austere finish.
