Very attractive nose of crisp pear and vanilla oak with hints of coconut and pineapple. Quite powerful and very well-structured with vibrant, lemony acidity driving the chalky finish.
Round and supple, this wine’s flavors have the cool clarity of rain bringing out the limestone minerality, layered with nectarine, tangerine and orange citrus notes. A hint of oak in
the structure makes the wine feel sleek and sophisticated without being flashy.
Nutty smoke and flinty reduction combine enticingly on this wine’s expressive nose. The palate is concentrated and even more flinty, with a pervasive saltiness that makes the mouth water. Hazelnut richness from oak seems to intensify the savory depth.
