This brownish red colored Tawny Port opens with a walnut, black coffee, and brown sugar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, mouthwatering and fresh. The flavor profile is a slightly sweet blend of golden raisin and stewed plums with notes of molasses, oak and a hint of prune. The finish is remains sweet and its flavors linger and last for a little bit. This is a very nice and affordable everyday Port to enjoy after a crockpot pot roast dinner this fall. Enjoy – Ken
Juicy and nicely compact, with a core of cinnamon, raisin, dried cherry and plum cobbler notes that is flattering but stays fresh enough through the finish.
This was a beautiful reddish rust color in the glass, totally clear. It smelled similar to brandy. It was light bodied.
This has gentle black-pepper spice and citrus notes to its simple grape flavors. There’s an edge of alcohol and aged character to add depth to a cheese course.
