This layers a steak of salinity under its rich panoply of flavors, from notes of dried papaya, candied pink grapefruit zest and blood orange sorbet to accents of praline, beeswax and honeysuckle. Long and creamy on the mouthwatering finish.

I love the toast and dried-apricot character of this lush pinot gris that’s got great textural complexity and enough acidity to lift the generous body and the luscious sweetness through the concentrated finish.

The 2012 Pinot Gris Clos Jebsal Vendange Tardive is magnificent. Rich, layered and also light on its feet, the 2012 is a magical wine. The flavors are deep and yet the wine remains so gracious, so classy. Orange confit, mint, honey and dried flowers all open up in the glass. The balance of flavor intensity and elegance is off the charts. The 2012 is a truly special wine.

In this wine, notions of honeyed, baked pear with clove are tender at first but becomes full-blown on the concentrated palate. The honeyed edge and distinct sweetness are countered by concentrated freshness, creating a sweet late-harvest wine of precision, purity and poise. Sweetness enhances the touches of pear, spice and honey, leaving lasting traces.

A rich, silky white, showing fine balance and integration between the mouthwatering acidity and lightly sweet range of mango, candied pink grapefruit peel, ground ginger and cardamom flavors. Displays good intensity on the zesty finish, with accents of minerally smoke, lemon thyme and ripe fruit.
