Aromas of cherries and strawberries with hints of watermelon and flowers. Medium body, firm and chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Shows depth of fruit and ripeness for the vintage.
Some very chiseled tannins, which makes this a wine with plenty of aging potential. There’s a gentle, earthy edge to the nose with red cherries and red flowers. The palate has real power and purpose. Acidity chimes in late but really lights up the finish.
The menthol character returns in force on the otherwise classic Gevrey
nose of sauvage, earth, wild berry and humus scents. There is fine size, weight, punch and muscularity to the broadshouldered and robust flavors that possess very good depth and length on the balanced and notably firm finish.
