This has a spiced sweet-berry character with hints of cassis, chocolate, vanilla and bark. Full-bodied with firm tannins, yet it is textured and velvety with creamy sweetness and a deep dark-fruited finish. Unfiltered. Drink or hold.

This very dark ruby colored Late Bottled Vintage Port is a great value. It opens with an inviting tiramisu and rum raisin bouquet with a hints of toasted walnut. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and very easy to drink for Port. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and fig blend with notes of brown spice bread and cardamon. I also detected hints of black licorice, stony minerality, walnut, and a touch of rum. The finish is quite dry and is flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this with a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – Ken

It has the plump, plummy character typical of fine Fonseca Ports, giving rich black jammy fruits that balance sweetness with tannins and acidity.

It shows well, has good expression of fruit and enticing aromatics, including a bit of a cistus nuance. I loved the chocolate and toast on the finish.

Deep cherry color with a rich nose. Dense, sweet, and silky with blackberry and spice; luscious and long.
