This clear straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with very fragrant ripe pink grapefruit bouquet with hints of mango and peach. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bracing, and bright. The flavor profile is grapefruit pith, and saline blend with notes of tangy white peach, gooseberry, and white tea. We also got a hint of sugar on top. The finish is mouthwatering and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this very good value Sauvignon Blanc with swordfish kabobs or with fish and chips. Enjoy

This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is classically styled. It opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit and gooseberry bouquet. On the palate this wine is light plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and lively. The flavor profile is a tangy yellow grapefruit and chalky minerality with notes of nectarine pit and lime zest. I also detected some hints of ginger and a dash white pepper. The finish is quite refreshing.

Showing its distinct Marlborough accent through grapefruit and lime, this stunning white has a zingy profile that keeps the mouth clean and refreshed. A garden of fresh herbs and star fruit lends another layer to the palate.

Floral and fragrant, with orange blossom, lemon sherbet and lime zest notes that are intense. The juicy finish features candied ginger accents.

The grassy, grapefruit-scented 2020 Sauvignon Blanc is a polite, tame example of this classic pairing of grape variety and region. It’s medium-bodied, with just a bit of silkiness to the mouthfeel, and has a gentle, softly dusty textural element to the finish that adds a bit of interest.
