This focused Lambrusco is fragrant with cured tobacco, mineral and spice notes, offering a harmonious mix of chopped black cherry and blackberry fruit, star anise and graphite driven by well-honed acidity.
Blackberry compote, black cherry jam and loads of savory spice leap out of the glass of this forward and giving Lambrusco. Herbs mixed with wild-berry pie filling fill the palate, finishing with a dried violet note. It is almost as if you are eating the grapes themselves.
This Lambrusco is giving and upfront on the nose with juicy ripe black plums and blackberries central to its expression. Violets and savory herbs add to the wine as it opens. It’s lush and soft on the palate with a foamy mousse finishing with more vibrant dark fruits and a pop of acidity.
