Lots of plums, darker cherries, currants, tobacco, and graphite-like notes emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Suscol Springs, a gorgeously complex, medium to full-bodied, finesse-driven effort. A blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% each of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, aged in 54% new oak, it has some background spicy wood notes, remarkable purity, and great tannins.

Beautiful aromatics of camphor, new leather, dried herbs, and both red and black fruits give way to a full-bodied Cabernet with integrated oak, perfect balance, and silky tannins. Bravo!

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Benchland Select is another gem, offering lots of cassis and darker cherry fruits as well as notes of lead pencil and crushed stone. Flawlessly balanced, medium to full-bodied, and as elegant and seamless as they come.

Lots of juicy fruit in an old-school style. It’s full-bodied, dense and layered with lots of fruit and intensity. Ripe fruit with some pine-needle and conifer undertones.

Blackberries and blackcurrants with some herbs, lemon and violets. Full-bodied with round tannins and a juicy finish. Beautiful fruit with savoriness and softness. Goes on for minutes.
