These grapes hail from Provence, where vineyard plots overlooking Rousset at the foot of Saint Victoire mountain are influenced by abundant sunshine and Mistral winds. From the best selection of plots amidst the garrigue, these vineyards are known for their maturity and low production. The proximity of the sea, abundant sunshine, and the granitic and schist-specific soil give this wine great character. Grapes are sorted and destemmed, with cold maceration of up to one full day followed by fermentation over 7 days at 63°F to preserve the fruity aromas. The final blend is produced by traditional Côtes de Provence methods, vinifying each grape variety separately, then blending them together for ideal balance and intensity of character. Grenache lends subtle red fruit, fullness and intensity while Cinsault contributes freshness and balance to the blend.

Harvest Note
A more than promising vintage that will remain marked for the second year in a row by the very low rainfall of winter and spring. The groundwater was at its lowest and the vines suffered a lot from water stress. Fortunately for the vintage, a few thunderstorms in the early summer saved the crops and allowed the grapes to swell. Although they are small and limited in volume, the very dry climate of the region kept the grapes healthy. This 2017 harvest in Provence gave us a grape of quality that shows nice acidity and good balance and thus fantastic quality.
Tasting Note
Bright with a very pale pink reminiscent of flower petals. The nose is complex with aromas combining a mixture of flowers and white fruit like apples and pears. The palate is both delicate and powerful giving all the aromatic richness of Grenache and Cinsault grape varieties.
Food Pairing
This sophisticated wine is ideal with shellfish, salads, and berry-based dishes or as an aperitif between friends on a warm summer evening.
