The Résonance Vineyard Pinot Noir showcases Maison Louis Jadot’s longstanding tradition of making terroir driven wines from the best vineyards. Although clearly new-world, Résonance has old-world Burgundian influences that are seen throughout the wine.

Harvest Note
Overall, 2014 was a fantastic vintage, as the wines are soft, full of flavor, and very bright! Harvest began on September 12th, and finished by the 20th. It was a wonderful year but encountered a small challenge of high temperatures. Due to the lack of cooler weather, yields were a bit higher but were actively managed. Without these, the yields would have been too high, and an amazing vintage would have turned into one to forget.
Tasting Note
Nice ruby red color, spices well supported by a nice and subtle “boise” with well-structured tannins and minerality. Still very young, the wine exhibits excellent ageing potential, it will only get better with age.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with grilled or roasted red meats, game, and poultry.

About the Grape

Pinot Noir
In France, makes a silky, deceptively powerful wine of elegant, complex aromas and subtle, red fruit flavors, with earthy, floral, mushroom and mineral notes. In California, shows ripe, sweet characters.
