Lote Negro is the maximum expression of the Valle de Uco and its terroir, which together with the passion of the winemaker creates a wine characterized by its representation of all the qualities and aromas that are typical of a Malbec. And when combined with the elegance of Cabernet Franc, it makes this blend a balanced wine, ideal for discovering the incredible Valle de Uco.
Harvest Note
The conditions of the 2018 harvest allowed for high quality fruit and a great size crop. The grapes started to grow late in the spring following a cold winter. The dry weather and cool nights allowed for the grapes to ripen slowly which gave them strong balance and exceptional character.
Tasting Note
"Aromas of blackberries and raspberries combined with spiced notes and mint. It is a wine with a great structure , which is granted by intense fruit and elegant character."

About the Grape
Cabernet Franc
Cabernet Franc usually shows tart red cherry and wild currant aromas and flavors with an herbal, spicy character. In the Loire, esp. Chinon and Saumur-Champigny, this grape shows firm minerality.
Malbec
Well-made Malbec is a dark, perfumed wine with rich, blackberry and damson plum fruit, aromas of violets and tobacco, and ripe, juicy tannins. In France, may be mineral, structured and austere.
