AVAILABLE MARKET: New York

This wine comes from the best vineyards in the Gavi area, the white calcareous soil, along with the east and south-east wind and sun exposures, allow the cortese grape to have the perfect setting for optimal growth and ripeness. After the manual harvest, the grape is then soft pressed for fermentation and aged in steel tanks for a minimum of 3 months.

Harvest Note
The 2020 vintage began with a winter season that didn’t present particular problems, characterized by mild temperatures and little rainfall. The first part of spring was relatively dry and sunny, suggesting an early vintage. This was not the case in May and June, with a considerable number of rainy days that caused a slowdown in the vegetative development. Though the rain did allow for an important accumulation of water in the ground, fundamental during summer season.
Tasting Note
Crispy, elegant, fragrant with white floral notes, pear, white peach and a pleasing roundness.
Food Pairing
Ideal as an aperitif, it is perfectly matched with fish, spicy foods and delicate starter dishes.
