This wine is 100% estate grown and bottled from fruit sourced exclusively from Michel Redde’s La Moynerie vineyard. The vines are between 20 and 25 years old and grow in diverse subsoils of limestone, kimmeridgian marl, and clay with flint—a diversity that allows superb blends in every vintage. The winemaker uses temperature-controlled fermentation and ages the wine in stainless steel tanks, wooden tuns, and half-wooden casks for 10 to 12 months on the lees until bottling.

Harvest Note
Early in the 2016 vintage, frost decreased yields across our vineyards slightly, however conditions improved quickly throughout the late spring and summer. The rest of the growing season saw near ideal conditions through harvest leading to better than expected yields and no apparent decrease in quality for our Sauvignon Blancs.
Tasting Note
This wine expresses all the density as well as the aromatic minerality of the soil. There is also a beautiful pureness to the salinity in the wine.
Food Pairing
Should be served with fish cooked in a light sauce or with poultry dishes that are light-to-medium bodied.
