Michel Redde et Fils is an esteemed Loire Valley producer dating back to 1630. This wine is 100% estate grown and bottled. The vines are between 20 and 25 years old and grow in diverse subsoils of limestone, kimmeridgian marl, and clay with flint—a diversity that allows superb blends in every vintage. All grapes are hand harvested. The wine ferments in a temperature-controlled environment using a combination of stainless steel and wooden barrels on the lees for 10 to 12 months until bottling.

Harvest Note
The 2020 vintage was similar to 2019 and 2017. These were hot years, with the summer and late season being very hot and dry. Harvest started on the 3rd September and lasted 2 weeks.
Tasting Note
This classic Sauvignon Blanc expresses the aromatic mineral purity of its diverse soils. Crisp and full-bodied on the palate, the wine features notes of exotic fruits such as lychee and passion fruit, as well as white fruits such as pear and peach. It features a persistent mineral finish.
