Michel Redde et Fils is an esteemed Loire Valley producer dating back to 1630. This wine is 100% estate grown and bottled. The vines are between 20 and 25 years old and grow in diverse subsoils of limestone, kimmeridgian marl, and clay with flint—a diversity that allows superb blends in every vintage. All grapes are hand harvested. The wine ferments in a temperature-controlled environment using a combination of stainless steel and wooden barrels on the lees for 10 to 12 months until bottling.

2019 vintage
Harvest Note
The 2019 vintage was a hot year, with both the summer and late season being very hot and dry. This means the wine is more opulent and aromatic, with exotic fruits and white stone fruit notes, subtle minerality, and a persistent finish.
Tasting Note
This classic Sauvignon Blanc expresses the aromatic mineral purity of its diverse soils. Crisp and fresh on the palate, the wine features notes of smoke and gunflint with intense grassy aromas on the nose.
