The source of Infamous Goose Sauvignon Blanc is Marlborough’s Wairau River Valley, where stony, sandy loam topsoil covers deep layers of free-draining shingle. This low-fertility soil reduces vigor, yielding lush, aromatic, ripe fruit. The grapes are picked at optimal ripeness, destemmed, and the free-run juice is cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks. Four months of aging on the lees and in stainless steel tanks provides body and complexity to the wine, before blending, fining, filtering and bottling.

Harvest Note
The 2019 vintage is largely regarded as the best vintage yet in Marlborough. The season started out damp and warm until Christmas. It then transitioned to warm and dry throughout the ripening period resulting in grapes with perfect sugar-acid, balance and great concentration. Overall, Marlborough enjoyed perfect natural balance in the vineyard which lead to modest alcohol and bright acidity.
Tasting Note
In appearance, it's a pale lime to straw colored. Lime zest give way to distinctive, freshly opened passion fruit aromas. The palate features fresh crunchy acidity and an abundance of tropical and citrus aromas.
Food Pairing
Fresh white fish, shellfish, salads and white meats.
