The Lote Single Vineyard series includes three Malbecs that have been selected as representations of the terroir and distinctive features of the vineyards from the three estates of Bodega Norton in Mendoza: Lunlunta, Finca La Colonia and Agrelo, which are each located at the foot of the Andes Mountains. With this exclusive high-end line, Norton focuses on its estates and the origin of the grapes as a key factor of the wine quality to grant consumers a sensory experience: the chance to enjoy the qualities of each terroir and compare them. As a selection of wines made from the vineyard, the winemakers’ challenge is to get the best grapes from the best vineyards of the winery. Lunlunta Estate is well-known for the refined and powerful personality of its Malbecs. The grapes for this wine come from vineyards planted in a shallow alluvial soil on a boulder bed cemented with clay.
