harvest note

This was a somewhat turbulent growing season. Lack of soil moisture and a poor fruit set diminished the harvest volumes.

tasting note

Fragrant with aromas of ripe pear, white flowers and wet stones. On the palate there is energy and power with bright acids to shape the intense fruit and earth flavors over the very long finish.

food pairing

Ideal with any fine seafood or shellfish, especially after the wine has achieved several years of aging.
