The Côte de Nuits is the northern of the two districts of the Côte d’Or. Le Vaucrain is a 8.75-acre vineyard in the village of Comblanchien, purchased by Louis Jadot in 1996; of this, 6.25 acres are planted with Pinot Noir and the balance with Chardonnay. The Chardonnay wine is fermented and matured in oak barrels for 10 months.

This round wine has white fruit aromas and flavors and an appealing balance. Drink this wine young, or cellar it for five to seven years.

Serve with white meats in cream sauce or with cheese.
