Jesse Fox brings almost two decades of Napa Valley winemaking experience to Sequoia Grove. Jesse’s already-impressive resume includes stints as Winemaker at Calistoga’s Amici Cellars, Assistant Winemaker at Ram’s Gate in Sonoma, and Cellar Foreman at Harlan Estates in St Helena.
“Achieving balance is the guiding principle in my winemaking,” says Fox. “It is a privilege to be a part of this historic producer’s future, and to join a team that believes in creating wines that welcome guests into the Napa Valley experience, introducing them to the diverse expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon.”
Jesse’s pursuit of perfectly balanced wines comes with impressive culinary credentials: he graduated #1 in his class from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, before serving as Chef de Parti at the renowned French Laundry in Yountville. This unique blend of culinary and winemaking expertise allows Jesse to craft exciting wines that are perfectly suited to a diverse range of food pairings.
Armed with these formidable skills and with the winery’s new state-of-the-art winery, French oak aging program, and replanted estate vineyards, Jesse is poised to lead Sequoia Grove to new heights in Napa Valley.
