Thierry Redde grew up at his family’s winery and worked in the Côtes de Blaye and Côtes de Bourg in Bordeaux before joining his father, Michel, in winemaking at the age of 19. Today he is joined by his two sons.
Asked what he loves most about making wine, he says, “In our job, we are lucky to be able to personalize our wine in our image, first of all in the way we cultivate our vineyard.” This vineyard-first approach is reflected in the family reputation for producing some of the highest-quality estate wines in Pouilly-Fumé.
In his free time, Redde enjoys swimming and cycling.
