This grows at a vineyard facing southeast, at the edge of the town of Fuissé. The vines, from 10 to 40 years old, produced a nutty, rich 2016 with enough generous apple flavors to manage the cardamom-spiced, almost tannic leesiness. It’s smoky and full, a wine for roast pork.
