February 28, 2019 91 Points View From The Cellar

The 2015 version was raised in fifty percent new wood and offers up a nascently complex bouquet of black cherries, sweet dark berries, a bit of gamebird, woodsmoke, dark soil tones, a bit of fresh thyme and a refined base of new oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and quite promising, with excellent mid-palate depth, fine-grained tannins, tangy acids and a long, complex and discreetly warm finish.
