harvest note

2014 was a year for many excellent wines, as the season began and ended strongly. The dry, warm weather was instrumental in advancing the development of the vines. Due to this, flowering began early and conditions in the area were dry until the end of June. On June 28th, hailstorms moved throughout the region, reducing yields in Meursault, Volnay, Pommard, and Beaune. In September, fine weather returned and the harvest was able to begin on the 12th. Despite the hailstorm, quantities were higher than they had been for the past few years.

tasting note

A powerful, tannic and full-bodied wine of intense color, Nuits-Saint-Georges offers robust fruit flavors and nuances of oak in the bouquet.

food pairing

Pairs well with game, beef and pork, and medium-aged cheeses.
