Champagne Taittinger

Collection Series: Rauschenberg 2000

Region: France / Champagne
Grapes: 50% Chardonnay; 50% Pinot Noir

American artist Robert Rauschenberg (1925–2008) rejected the angst of Abstract Expressionism and embraced nontraditional mediums and popular icons in his paintings and three-dimensional collages called “combines,” one of which famously included a stuffed angora goat. His work now graces the vintage 2000 Collection Series bottle.

The Taittinger Collection Series bottles are released only in great vintages from a selection of the year's finest cuvées.
