Reyna Barbaresco DOCG play
Region:
Italy
/ Piedmont
/ Barbaresco
The vineyards lie on the steep, southwest facing Langhe hillsides. Grapes are harvested an average of 10 to 15 days later than normal, resulting in extremely rich musts high in sugar and lower in acidity. Temperature controlled fermentation is followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in French Allier and Slavonian oak followed by additional aging in bottle.

2006 vintagetasting note
Pure, high-toned red berry aromas and flavors with spice notes surround a core of vivid acidity and moderate tannins. Similar in character to Barolo, but more delicate, this Barbaresco has great aging potential.
food pairing
This is a great wine for roasts and game.
