Mâcon-Azé

Region: France / Burgundy / Mâcon

Within the Mâcon-Villages area, the Mâcon-Azé appellation is 1,250 acres in size, located around the village of Azé. Jadot parcels produce the highest-quality fruit of the harvest. The limestone subsoil of the nearby Monts du Mâconnais imparts the minerality, floral complexity and finesse that are ideal for Chardonnay grapes. Mâcon-Azé is vinified in stainless steel tanks to retain the floral, fruity aromas and fresh character that are typical of this region.

With a pale yellow-gold color and green tints near the edge, this wine is lively, charming, crisp and easy to drink. This dry wine shows lemon, grass and floral aromas, which become fruity flavors on the palate, with clean minerality and a note of acidity.
