Montrachet Grand Cru

Region: France / Burgundy / Côte de Beaune Grands Crus

Le Montrachet is shared by the communes of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. The vineyard terroir is very chalky and stony for perfect drainage but has the potential to overheat in the sunny, south–southeast exposure. The Chardonnay grapes are fermented and matured in oak barrels for 18 to 20 months.
