Le Musigny Grand Cru

Region: France / Burgundy / Côte de Nuits Grands Crus

One of the two Grands Crus (with Bonnes Mares) of Chambolle-Musigny, Le Musigny faces east at 320 meters in elevation on stony limestone soil, which makes for a supple wine. The Pinot Noir grapes are fermented in vats for up to 4 weeks, and then the wine is matured in oak barrels for about 20 months.
