Vigna Trasassi Pinot Grigio Venezia Giulia IGT
/ Trentino- Alto Adige
Vigna Trasassi takes its name from the Italian vigna tra sassi, meaning vineyard among stones—referring to the vineyard’s extraordinary terrain. There, rocks reflect the sunshine during the day and radiate accumulated warmth during the night, leading to fully ripe grapes with pronounced aromas and concentration. Grapes are harvested exclusively by hand and pressed whole. The must is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats, and the wine matures on the lees before bottling.

Wine Enthusiast2004 vintage
Straw yellow in color, this wine is intense on the nose with persistent hints of fresh fruit and spring flowers. The palate shows fine acidity and balance.
Great as an aperitif, this wine also pairs well with risotto and raw or cooked fish.

about the grape +
This grape makes fresh, crisp, charming wines with apple, pear, almond and acacia flower aromas and clean, stone fruit flavors, or creamy, honeyed wines with spice, blossom and mineral aromas.
