Benziger Family Winery

Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

Certified Sustainable, Organic or Biodynamic Green Certified

Region: America / California / Sonoma County

For this wine, grape lots are blended from several Sonoma County benchland and mountain ranch vineyards that naturally yield smaller crops, resulting in wines with intense colors and flavors. Careful management of the vine canopies protects the grapes from direct sunlight. In the winery, cold soaks, pumping over and varying fermentation length and temperature in each lot maximize flavor intensity while managing tannin levels. The wine is aged in American oak barrels before release.
