Frédéric Barnier joined Maison Louis Jadot in 2010 as technical director, and is responsible for the entire winemaking team at the facilities in Givry and in Beaune, working directly with Jacques Lardière.

Originally from Brittany, Barnier has an engineering degree from the agronomy program at Montpellier, and received his enology degree in 1999. He is an avid diver and diving instructor, and is married with three children.
