Son of Jean and Corinne Taittinger and grandson of Pierre Taittinger--the founder of Champagne Taittinger--Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger joined the family business in 1976 and is now head of Champagne Taittinger and chairman of Domaine Carneros, Taittinger’s California sparkling wine partnership.

A graduate of the Centre de Formation aux Affaires of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Reims, Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger completed his business education with a Master's degree in Business Administration. He is married with three children.
