Congratulations to Piero Incisa della Rocchetta, Owner and Winemaker of Bodega Chacra, on a wonderful article that was recently published in the NY Times.
Written by Eric Asimov, the article, “A Pinot Noir From Argentina That Stands Out in a Sea of Malbecs”, chronicles Mr. Incisa’s quest to create world renowned Pinot Noir wines of “elegance and finesse” from the northern Patagonia, Rio Negro Valley, an area typically associated with Malbec wines.
His passionate and skillful efforts have yielded tremendous results in merely a decade, with wines earning numerous accolades from major publications. The 2014 vintage of Barda Pinot Noir received 91 points from Wine Spectator in their December 2015 issue.
